The staged restoration of this stunning 1858 heritage home in Sydney’s Hunters Hill can only be described as an exercise in passion for both the owners and LHD, with both parties sharing a vision to preserve its period features while ensuring its updates carry it well into the future. To date, LHD has completed the restoration of the formal living rooms, bedrooms and the home’s three bathrooms, each with its own unique personality but all combining the classic with the contemporary to stunning effect through an ingenious use of colour and material – traditional with a twist. The final stage of the home’s restoration is scheduled for completion in 2022.
